There are two public car parks. There is a steep hill to negotiate when walking down to the reservoir from the Llannon Road car park off the A476, however, a drive through the country lanes at the next turning will lead you down to the North car park located between the Upper and Lower Reservoirs.

Access to the reservoir is easier from the North Car park via a level-wide tarmac public footpath along the Western shore and a ‘rural’ path along the Eastern shore.
